The Bible
We believe the Bible’s 66 books are the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings. Scripture is our final authority for faith, teaching, and daily life (2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21).
The Triune God
We believe in one eternal God who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person is fully God, equal in nature, power, and glory (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19).
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived without sin, died as the substitute for sinners, and rose bodily from the dead. He ascended into heaven and will return in glory (John 1:1–14; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11).
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit convicts people of sin, gives new life, and indwells every believer. He empowers Christians to grow in holiness and serve the church. We believe the miraculous sign gifts, including tongues and prophetic revelation, served the foundational apostolic era and are no longer given as ongoing gifts today. God continues to answer prayer and heal according to His sovereign will (John 16:8–14; Romans 8:9–14; 2 Corinthians 12:12; Hebrews 2:3–4).
Humanity and Sin
We believe God created humanity in His image, male and female. Through Adam’s disobedience, sin entered the world. All people are sinners by nature and choice and need reconciliation with God through Jesus Christ (Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23; 5:12).
Salvation
We believe salvation is entirely by God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It cannot be earned through good works or religious practices. God sovereignly brings sinners to new life, leading them to repentance and faith. Genuine faith produces obedience and a changed life (Ephesians 2:8–10; John 3:3–8; Titus 3:5; James 2:17).
The Security and Growth of Believers
We believe everyone truly saved by God is kept by His power forever. Believers are called to grow in holiness, turn from sin, and persevere in faith through the work of the Holy Spirit (John 10:27–29; Philippians 1:6; 1 Peter 1:3–5).
The Church
We believe Jesus Christ is the head of the church. The local church gathers for biblical teaching, worship, prayer, fellowship, the ordinances, and making disciples. Qualified male elders—including pastors—are responsible for teaching and shepherding the congregation, while every believer is called to serve (Acts 2:42; Ephesians 4:11–16; 1 Timothy 2:12–3:7).
Baptism and the Lord’s Supper
We practice baptism by immersion for those who personally profess faith in Christ. Baptism publicly expresses a believer’s union with Jesus in His death and resurrection. The Lord’s Supper remembers Christ’s sacrificial death and proclaims His return. Neither ordinance earns salvation (Matthew 28:19–20; Romans 6:3–4; 1 Corinthians 11:23–29).
Marriage and Family
We believe God established marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. Husbands and wives are equal in dignity before God and are called to fulfill their biblical responsibilities with love, faithfulness, and mutual care. Parents are called to raise their children in the instruction of the Lord (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4–6; Ephesians 5:22–6:4).
Christ’s Return and Eternity
We believe Jesus Christ will personally and bodily return. We affirm the gathering of His church before the tribulation and His subsequent return to establish His thousand-year reign on earth. All people will be raised: believers to everlasting life with God and unbelievers to everlasting conscious punishment (1 Thessalonians 4:13–18; Revelation 3:10; 19:11–20:15; Matthew 25:46).
We exist to glorify God by proclaiming the gospel, making disciples of all nations, and teaching believers to obey everything Christ commanded. We seek to speak the truth in love and show Christ’s compassion to all people (Matthew 28:18–20; Ephesians 4:15; 1 Corinthians 10:31).
